Man is living (and stuck) in this Material world and  due to 2 main reasons.

Reason 1: 

He identifies himself with the body. some say i belong to this nation(indian,american,Britain,singaporean)
,Caste, Community,Religion, and Family(Most attractive) anything pertaining to my body is my object of interest.

Because of identifying with the Body ..,They run after Bodily Comforts. ( for example Restaurants, Arbys, Mc Donalds, 
Burger king, Strip Club,Night club, Partying, nice palatable Dishes in many hotels, Buying a Home, a sophisticated Car,
$$$, Vacation,Picnic , touring(sight seeing) places, Society, Friends Party dinner etc and so on )  


Like this, The whole World is running after the Bodily comforts. 

I recently talked to a Professional in toronto. He says His sole aims is to Buy this Big House(Complete the
Mortgage payment).

In Reality.., Many people are circum-mambulating with the Bodily identification.so they run after the welfare of family 
& Relations. The Whole Life is spoiled in this way.
 

But the Shaastras says you are misrepresenting the identity of yourself as this Body. You are Not this Material Body.

Therefore anything in relation to your body is not your interest. You are Sprit soul( Aham Brahma-asmi)

Therefore instead of trying to associate with the Bodily related people(Father , Mother , Brother , sister, family well Being,
community,Nation etc..,). Associate with the Soul Related people. That is your step to Salvation.


No one thinks that  i am blessed with the Human Body after a prolonged evolutionary process of living in other 
inferior species(animals, Plants etc). does nt matter the body is white or black, ugly or beautiful so my business is use this 
Body to get out of this Material Existence or Entanglement and go Back to Home .., Back to Godhead .  


Reason 2 :

He is envious of krishna. he wanted to be fame, powerful, beautiful ,proud, dignity, social status,rich,
Aristocratic family status and so on. which is natural instinct.  You cant control it.


So long as you are envious of others(or Krishna) you remain in this Material World. there is no chance of Spritual Enlighentment.

Therfore You Test Yourself.., If you are envous of others then you are in this Material World. If you are NOT envious of 
others .., then you are in Spritual World.


Aakincanyam.

People chant (Maha Manthra) Hare Rama Hare Krishna in many ways. But there is some necessity of Akincanyam.(humility).

so a Vaishnava should chant the Maha Manthra  in Humility in other words..,Akincanyam(nothing in material possession to be given)

so if there is no Aakinchanyam it is considers as a pure Offenseless chanting.!!
